Important notice: Pit and safety

• Natural with a pit: The dates are delivered in their authentic, unprocessed form, and each fruit contains one pit. Thanks to the soft, pliable texture of these dates, the pit is very easy to remove with your fingers or by a light cut.

• Children and safety: When serving dates to children, we recommend extra caution. Always remove the pit before eating. For small children, it’s safer to split the fruit lengthwise to ensure the pit is gone, then cut into smaller bites.

Storage and shelf life: How to keep freshness without chemicals

Our dates are a purely natural product without any chemical treatment or preservatives. To keep their flavor and ideal texture, we recommend following these tips:

• After delivery: Once you receive your shipment, we recommend transferring the dates into an airtight container and placing them in the refrigerator.

• Optimal freshness in the fridge: After delivery, transfer the dates immediately into an airtight container. In the refrigerator at +5 to +7 °C, they stay in perfect condition for at least 3 months.

• Protection from odors: Dates are very sensitive to surrounding aromas. Storing them in a closed container is key so the fruits don’t absorb smells from other foods in the fridge and keep their natural scent.

• Long-term storage (up to 1 year): If you want to stock up for a whole year, you can safely freeze the dates. In a freezer at -18 to -20 °C, they remain in ideal condition for 12 months. Low temperature is the most natural preservation method and requires no additives.

• Serving culture: For everyday enjoyment, serve dates in a beautiful glass jar with a lid. Not only does it look elegant, but the lid also prevents natural moisture from evaporating—so every bite stays juicy and delicious.
