For the provision of our services, sale of goods, and operation of our website, we process certain personal data.

I. Processing of Personal Data

 A.  Processing of personal data when using the contact form

 

If you inquire about our products and services, we will work with the contact details you provide us, mainly through the inquiry form. These are:

First name and surname

Email

Phone

Street and house number

City

Country

 

    

For what reason?

We will contact you via these details for further arrangements regarding goods and services.

 

On what legal basis?

This processing is based on Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR – negotiation of a contract, or the performance of measures prior to entering into a contract at your request.

 

How long will we process personal data?

If we do not establish further cooperation, we will process your data for a maximum of 7 days from our last communication.

 

 B. Processing of personal data in case of purchase

 

If you make a purchase from us, we will work with the data you provide. These are mainly billing details: first name, surname, address, email, phone.

 

For what reason?

We need to process personal data to fulfill our contract – to deliver our goods or services to you. Through the contact details, we will also communicate with you regarding the status of your order, or regarding complaints or your inquiries.

We will further process personal data to fulfill our legal obligations (mainly for accounting and tax purposes, and for handling complaints and other matters).

 

On what legal basis do we process personal data?

This processing is based on Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR – performance of a contract, and Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR – fulfillment of our legal obligation.

 

How long will we process personal data?

For the duration of our service provision, and then 30 days from the last provision of such service or delivery of goods.

 

 C. Newsletters (commercial communications) 

If you are a purchasing customer and have not prohibited us from doing so during your purchase, we will use your email address to send out our newsletters.

 
On what legal basis?

This is permitted by Section 7(3) of Act No. 480/2004 Coll., on certain information society services, if you have not prohibited us from doing so during your purchase.

 

How long will we process personal data?

3 years from your last purchase. You can unsubscribe from mailings at any time via email or by contacting us at: sales@datlex.cz

 

 

II. Who will have access to the data?

Your data will remain with us. However, some companies or other persons work for us who gain access to the data because they help us operate our e-shop. These are:

  • e-shop platform operator Shoptet (company Shoptet a.s., with registered office at Dvořeckého 628/8, Břevnov, 169 00, Prague 6, ID No. 289 35 675, the company is registered with the Municipal Court in Prague, section B, insert 25 395)
  • companies involved in goods dispatch Zásilkovna, Česká pošta
  • companies involved in payment processing Shoptet Pay
  • email service provider cesky-hosting.cz
  • marketing agency ViVa marketing

 

       

We process personal data only within the territory of the European Union.

 

III. What else should you know 

Our company does not have a designated data protection officer.

 

In our company, there is no decision-making based on automatic processing or profiling.

The GDPR regulation gives you, among other things, the right to contact us and request information about what personal data we process, to request access to this data from us and to have it updated or corrected, or to request restriction of processing, you can request a copy of the processed personal data, request us to erase personal data in certain situations, and in certain cases you have the right to data portability. You can object to processing based on legitimate interest.

 

If you believe that we are not handling data correctly, you have the right to file a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection, or to seek redress from the court.

 

These terms are effective from August 23, 2024.
